Psychogeography

This is the story all about how I journeyed to Altgeld. This map is done the same way as Guy Debord did his Psychogeographic guide of Paris. It is pasted and pieced together in a similar format. It begins at the bottom of the Krannert Art Muesum, then continues through campus; letting the buildings be the guide. I ended up walking through laboratories, through steps and found myself at the Altgeld in 25 minutes. Which was necessary because there was a workshop on Adobe that evening around 7PM. This led to me wanting to be as effecient as possible, while allowing myself to go to places, seeing buildings I would not have normally seen. Having the buildings shape this journey allowed me such an adventure. The mathematical model I chose, which I believe represented my personality is the wooden structure in the bottom of the collage. Because I have a wooden personality with additional bends/curves (Think Ron Swanson).

Here is a collage, similar to Debord’s with things, pictures, statues and the map from the journey.
